TAV Airports Ensured Accessibility with Binclusive

TAV Airports has taken a major step toward inclusive digital transformation by making its corporate and airport websites fully accessible. In collaboration with Binclusive, TAV Technologies has implemented a comprehensive accessibility upgrade aligned with international standards.

Thanks to this initiative, the websites of TAV Airports and its affiliates have been restructured to comply fully with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA). Users with visual impairments, low vision, color blindness, or dyslexia can now navigate the websites more easily and independently.

Accessibility Features for All Users

The integrated accessibility menu allows users to easily tailor their website experience to their individual needs. Key features include:

  • Full compatibility with screen readers
  • High contrast and color blindness modes
  • Dyslexia-friendly fonts
  • Adjustable text size
  • Full keyboard navigation
  • Option to disable distracting animations
  • Simplified language mode

These enhancements aim to remove digital barriers and provide a seamless and independent browsing experience for all.

Accessibility as a Mindset, Not Just a Feature

Kerem Öztürk, CIO of TAV Airports and CEO of TAV Technologies, shared his thoughts on the project:

“At TAV Airports, our goal is to offer the best travel experience for our passengers in all the airports that we operate. We believe that every passenger should have equal access to services, and we see this as a top priority. In line with our corporate values of responsibility and mutual respect, we embrace the principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Fairness as a central part of our company culture. We integrate these principles not only in our airport operations but also in every interaction we have with our stakeholders.”
